Lendable grants US$30 million Senior Secured Facility to Prima to boost financial inclusion for SMEs in Mexico’s manufacturing sector

Mexico City, Mexico – May 29, 2025
Lendable, a leading debt finance provider that supports fast-growing, tech-enabled financial services companies in emerging markets, has extended a US$ 30 million senior secured facility to Prima, a technology-driven supply chain and manufacturing platform empowering small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) manufacturers in Mexico. This partnership will expand access to working capital and strengthen Mexico’s nearshoring capabilities by empowering over 430 SME manufacturers.

Founded in 2022, Prima operates at the intersection of supply chain, engineering, and financial inclusion. Its proprietary platform enables large corporations to source and execute complex manufacturing projects from Mexico, delivering  a substantially more reliable experience. Acting as the seller of record, Prima manages project execution on an end-to-end basis,  including engineering and procurement, supplier coordination and delivery, while providing SMEs with access to financing solutions to address their working capital needs.

Lendable’s facility will be used to finance the growth of the working capital requirements linked to the delivery of projects, enabling Prima to scale its operations, while serving its growing base of large corporate clients in Mexico and the USA.

“We are excited to support Prima in its mission to unlock growth opportunities for underbanked manufacturing SMEs,” said Agustin De Luca, Investment Team, Senior Associate at Lendable, adding “Prima’s platform is enabling a more efficient and inclusive industrial ecosystem by solving critical pain points in accessing financing solutions, fragmented supply chains and limited SME visibility, while positioning itself as a strategic beneficiary of the nearshoring trend reshaping North American trade.”

Prima is backed by a strong syndicate of institutional investors, including 10 leading VC funds and 110 angel investors from the tech and industrial ecosystems. This support reflects confidence in the company’s business model, leadership team, and long-term growth potential in the region’s evolving manufacturing and supply chain landscape.

“We’re proud to partner with Lendable in this next phase of growth,” said Patricio Servitje, CFO and Co-Founder of Prima. “Together, Lendable and Prima are enabling a more inclusive, resilient, and globally competitive manufacturing future for Mexico.”

This transaction reinforces Lendable’s commitment to building innovative financing solutions that drive economic opportunity and impact of financial inclusion across a diverse range of emerging markets and sectors.
